Fair Saturday, An Awaited Charity Malaga Event at La Fábrica

Fair Saturday, a charity event, is held this Saturday and it will take place at Cruzcampo’s La Fábrica facilities. We love seeing that Malaga live music and culture are still in the spotlight and what better way to celebrate than with an event that also includes citizen cooperation! Be ready since this weekend we will have special activities, such as a great beer tasting, that will make your Saturday! Keep reading and we’ll tell you all about our future plans!

Fair Saturday: Solidarity & Fun Combined in A Malaga Event

Do you know what Fair Saturday is about? It is a non-profit organization that since 2014 fights for a better world through art and culture, seeking to promote social empathy. The aim of Fair Saturday is that the events, held on the last Saturday of November, somehow provoke an impact on our society. It is also an annual movement of international scope that is held on different cities promoting the organization of activities during this day from their public institutions. In 2018 some of these cities will be Bilbao, Huelva, Edinburgh, Pisa or Bristol, including our city! A Malaga event as never before. It’s going to be #the_beerst!

In charge of this project we find young people who are committed to social development with the aim of making the world a better and more sensitive place. That’s why inclusion and dissemination are so important for this event. In short, this is a special day to try to improve the world we all live in. An activity designed for everyone who wants to learn and become aware of social issues through culture and art. Of course, we wanted to support this initiative at La Fábrica and we said a resounding yes to participating in an event like this. Do you want to know more about what we plan to do?

Beer Tasting & Live Music This Saturday at La Fábrica

This Malaga event will start from 12:00 in our facilities. The beer tasting we have organized will cost 10 € and the benefits will go directly to TeA’s association, which supports families with children suffering autism spectrum disorder. Among the collaborators we find Malaga’s Centro de Artes & Música Moderna (Centre for Arts and Modern Music), which will delight us with a gospel choir, and Rea Teatro, who has prepared a theatre play for us. It’s no surprise that they don’t want to miss this amazing event!

If you’re wondering what’s going on with our beers, here they are: you can try two beer tastings of four different beers with our Master Brewers from Cruzcampo’s La Fábrica in Málaga. The first tasting will start at 12:30 and the second one at 13:30, so remember the time and don’t miss the date! And, apart from that, we have another surprise: Inmaculada Jabato, a local announcer and commentator from Malaga, will give us a short talk about the TeA’s work as an association. We keep saying it so many times because it’s true: at La Fábrica eating and drinking is an art!
