La Fábrica Microbrewery’s Malaga Restaurant Becomes a School

The Malaga restaurant kitchen of La Fábrica microbrewery in El Soho was the perfect scene to carry on this 4-month support program based on labour insertion for disabled people. The course (350 hours + internship period) is co-funded by the European Social Fund and is part of the Fundacion ONCE program: Youth Employment and Social Inclusion and Social Economy.

The aim of this type of social action is always to increase training and access to employment for people with disabilities. In this case, the program has been a complete success! We just have to take a look at the figures: four students already received job offers and six students more are likely to receive them soon. According to the expectations of the organizers, a labour insertion rate of 80% could be achieved.

La Fábrica Microbrewery: the Perfect Place to Celebrate the Closing Ceremony

To celebrate the end of the training stage, the organizers gathered the students in an event at La Fábrica in Malaga for the diploma ceremony. The ceremony was attended by the delegate for Culture and Education of the Malaga City Council, Gemma del Corral, the Inserta Empleo Regional Director, Francisco López Aguado, the Director of the Escuela de Hosteleria Fundacion Cruzcampo, Jesus Barrio, Grupo Premium Vice President, José Manuel Montalvo.

That was a day to celebrate these young people’s well-done work and effort. They completed the training with great excitement, and it will give them the possibility to get a job.
