Our Cruzcampo Microbrewery Receives the Distinctive “Sabor a Málaga” Signature and Celebrates the “Saboreando Málaga” Gastronomic Days
Once again, our microbrewery is on trend! The craft Malaga beers produced in La Fábrica do not go unnoticed and have more and more lovers. This time, they have won over the Provincial Council of Malaga, which has recognised the wonderful work of our brewmasters and has given us the distinctive “Sabor a Málaga” signature. Hurray! To celebrate it properly, La Fábrica invites you to the “Saboreando Málaga” gastronomic days, which will take place from October 8th to 18th and in which you will be able to taste a slow food menu with Malaga dishes paired with our award-winning beers. What are you waiting for?
Our Microbrewery Gets the “Sabor a Málaga” Signature
The promotional brand of the agri-food and catering sector of the Provincial Council, “Sabor a Málaga”, has given its distinctive signature to our Cruzcampo microbrewery in recognition of the more than 30 recipes for Malaga beer that we produce every year in El Soho, the very heart of the city.
Since January 2018, in the microbrewery of Cruzcampo’s La Fábrica in Málaga, we have been brewing craft beers of permanent styles in #constant_evolution, such as Cruzcampo Malagueta (APA), Cruzcampo IPA, Cruzcampo Session, Cruzcampo Trigo and Cruzcampo Strong Ale. The latter also received the silver medal at the prestigious Barcelona Beer Challenge. All of them can be enjoyed throughout the year, in addition to the possibility of tasting other limited batches, incorporating many Malaga ingredients, such as mango from La Axarquía, cane syrup from Frigiliana or spices, or even innovative flavours such as gazpacho beer.
In addition, following our #deep_love for beers, we have created several Cruzcampo recipes that can now be enjoyed nationwide as craft-inspired beers. Such is the case with our latest creation, the Cruzcampo Andalusian IPA, recently recognised for its taste and design with two silver medals at the World Beer Awards 2020, among other awards.
Some VIPs attended the “Sabor a Málaga” award ceremony, such as Juan Carlos Maldonado, First Vice President of the Provincial Council and Member of Parliament for Economic and Social Development; Ada Bernal, Regional Director of Institutional Relations for Heineken Spain; and our brewmasters Jorge Varela and Juan Jiménez, who showed them first-hand the work they do at La Fábrica. Of course, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Provincial Council for awarding us this fantastic signature and to thank Cruzcampo for the confidence placed in our Malaga beers. Last but not least, we thank our supporters, whose opinions and comments inspire us to continue creating our #craft_beer for visitors from Malaga and all over the world.
Slow Food Menu: Do Not Miss the “Saboreando Málaga” Gastronomic Days!
In La Fábrica we are always ready for whatever may come and we could not miss the opportunity to celebrate this great event with all of you. To celebrate the “Sabor a Málaga” signature, we have organised a series of gastronomic days, under the title “Saboreando Málaga”, which will take place from October 8th until the 18th. During this event, in our microbrewery, you will be able to taste a slow food menu with incredible Malaga dishes, paired with our best craft beers. In addition, these days will be enlivened by the usual live music that accompanies La Fábrica’s agenda. Let’s see what delicacies await us!
Let’s start with a fresh combination of Local grown pink tomato, aged goat cheese and olives dressing, whose ingredients will make you feel as if you were truly from Malaga. In addition, you will be able to pair it with the incomparable flavour of our Cruzcampo Malagueta and enjoy a complete experience. If you feel like more, don’t forget our delicious Roasted aubergine croquettes with cane syrup accompanied by the unique Cruzcampo Strong Ale with cane syrup from Malaga. It sounds great, right?
On the other hand, if you have a hearty appetite and would like something more solid, our microbrewery recommends you a pairing with our characteristic Cruzcampo IPA and the succulent Malaga spicy sausage tartare with raisins, capers, Dijon mustard and cane syrup. Are you convinced? Not so fast, there is more! For fish lovers, we have prepared an appetizing Steamed sea bass with gazpachuelo (local warm soup), local grown potatoes and garlic styled kingprawns which, together with the fresh flavour of Cruzcampo Trigo, will cause an authentic #explosion_of_flavour on your palate.
Lastly, as a final touch, sweeten up with the explosive combination of our Soft moistened cake with Malaga sweet wine and raisins ice cream with a PX touch and the Cruzcampo Fruit Beer. You’ll only regret it if you don’t try it!
As if all this were not enough, within the agenda of beer experiences in October, we will have beer tastings paired with typical dishes from Malaga, which are organised exclusively for groups of 4 to 10 people and under reservation, complying with all safety measures.
What do you think of our novelties? Do you already know where to taste a slow food menu? Remember: from October 8th to 18thyou have an appointment with our “Saboreando Málaga” gastronomic days. Don’t forget to book in advance, because places are limited. We are waiting for you to celebrate together our new “Sabor a Málaga” signature!
